Make-up day for all school locations will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013 
at Brandenburg Primary 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. and 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.

Four-year-old Program and Special Needs Services are blended together to form the Meade County Preschool classes.  The Meade County Preschool Program is open to all eligible 3 or 4 year olds in Meade County.  Transportation is provided by Meade County Schools.  

Qualifications for the Meade County Public Preschool Program

• Eligibility: Enrollment occurs year round. For more details contact the Board of Education at 270-422-7500 or 270-422-7509.

• 3 and 4 year olds with disabilities or developmental delays

• 4 year olds eligible whole family income is no more than 150% of poverty

• 4 year olds: Tuition-based eligibility is available if class is not at cap size.

• Social/Emotional
• Self-help/Adaptive

Required Documents

•  Certified Birth Certificate (not the hospital copy)
•  Social Security Card (optional)
•  Up-to-date Kentucky immunization certificate
•  Physical examination certificate signed by a doctor
•  Eye Exam (Certified Optometrist)
•  Proof of Residence
