Health Services

Big News! Starting in the 2024-2025 School Year, we're partnering with Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. to bring Healthy Kids Clinics to all our eight schools, a program already proven successful in 24 other Kentucky school districts! This means enhanced health services for both students and staff, right on each of our eight campuses.
What's in store with Healthy Kids Clinics?
More Nursing Coverage: We're expanding our school nurse team for better care during school hours.
Diagnostic Testing On-Site: Quick testing for illnesses like flu and strep, plus easy prescription processing to assist families with streamlined medical care.
Mental Health Support: Tailored services focusing on emotional and psychological well-being.
Nurse Practitioner and Site Manager for Each School: Specialized, efficient healthcare right at school.
Easy Access to Immunizations and Physicals: Keeping our students healthy and ready for school activities.
These clinics are about proactive health care and wellness. With parental approval, all students, regardless of their insurance status, can receive medical care during school hours, reducing the need for them to miss school for routine medical appointments.
This is a huge step in nurturing a supportive, healthy environment for our students and staff.
