The Meade County High School Men’s Swim Team has made history again, winning the Regional Championship for the second year. Their hard work and dedication have made them a strong team in Meade County Athletics, and their success is something the entire community can be proud of.
During the March Board Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Mark Martin and the Meade County Board of Education recognized these outstanding student-athletes and their coaches for their efforts and accomplishments. Each team member was given a certificate for their achievement and commitment to excellence.
"Winning a championship is an incredible accomplishment, but defending that title takes an even higher level of determination, teamwork, and discipline," said Dr. Martin. "This team has shown what it means to be student-athletes, and we are beyond proud of their success."
Meade County Athletic Director Todd Clanton praised the team: "This group has worked hard all season, and their back-to-back championships are well deserved. Their dedication in and out of the pool has set a great example for future Greenwave swimmers, and we are proud of what they’ve achieved."
The Greenwave swim team’s success reflects their dedication, strong coaching, and the support of the Meade County community. Congratulations to our back-to-back champions for raising the bar and inspiring others.
Students First. Team Always.
