Meade County Schools is proud to share that Ms. Amy Berry, District Technology Coordinator, has been named one of three finalists for the WKU Distinguished Educator Award in Innovation.
Amy Berry has dedicated more than 30 years of her career to serving Meade County Schools. In her current role, she leads with a vision of innovation—providing students and teachers with cutting-edge tools and strategies that transform classrooms and connect families.
Under Amy’s leadership, Meade County Schools has launched districtwide initiatives such as interactive classroom panels, 1:1 student device programs, and a custom-built communication app to strengthen connections with families. She also led the district to become the first in Kentucky to implement the Centegix Safety Platform, ensuring a safe, secure learning environment where instruction thrives.
“Amy Berry’s leadership has positioned Meade County Schools as a model for innovation and student-centered learning,” said Superintendent Dr. Mark Martin. “Her dedication to enhancing education through technology, while always keeping people at the heart of her work, makes her an outstanding finalist for this recognition.”
The WKU Distinguished Educator & Administrator Awards recognize educators who have made significant contributions to the teaching profession. Finalists will be recognized this spring, and winners will receive a commemorative plaque and special recognition from WKU’s College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
Please join us in congratulating Amy Berry on this well-deserved honor!
