The NED show came to DTW today to teach our students about being resilient. They learned the importance of never giving up, encouraging others, and doing their best!










DTW's regularly scheduled SBDM meeting on December 23 at 3:30 p.m. is canceled.

DTW students will be completing the pacer test in PE on Thursday and Friday, 12/4 and 12/5. Please make sure your child wears tennis shoes on his/her PE day.

The NED show is coming to DTW on December 10 (during the school day). NED's Resiliency Ride, is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.

DTW students will be completing MAP testing this month. Please see the attached schedule to know when your child will test. MAP testing occurs 3 times a year (fall, winter, and spring), and is a great way to measure his/her growth in reading, math, and language arts. Please encourage your child to get a good night's rest and eat a healthy breakfast. As a reminder, we offer breakfast at no cost to all students every morning. Thank you for your support!
