As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, Meade County Schools is sharing an end-of-year reflection video titled “Moments That Matter,” highlighting many of the people, accomplishments, traditions, and experiences that helped shape the school year across the district.
The video reflects on academic growth, student opportunities, athletics, healthcare expansion, school safety improvements, extracurricular achievements, and the continued focus on building strong connections with students, families, and the community.
Narrated by Meade County Schools teacher Jennifer Hail, the video centers around the idea that school years are built through thousands of moments, many of them quiet and unseen, that together become the story of a community.
“This video is really about the people behind the work,” said Superintendent Dr. Mark Martin. “While we are proud of the accomplishments highlighted throughout the year, some of the most meaningful moments happen quietly each day inside our schools. A student encouraged, a teammate supported, a child reminded that they matter. Those moments are what truly shape the story of Meade County Schools.”
The video also highlights the district’s continued progress in academics, expanded student support services, growth in school safety efforts, state and regional athletic success, and the beginning of the Meade County High School construction project that will continue over the next three years.
Meade County Schools thanks its students, employees, families, and community members for helping make the moments of the 2025–2026 school year meaningful and memorable.
