SUN Meals Summer Program – Meade County Schools

SUN Meals provides free, nutritious meals to all children ages 18 and under through both dine-in and drive-thru services. Meade County Schools is excited to serve healthy meals to all children throughout the summer!

𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀: Available at SPMS with no registration needed. Begins Monday, May 18th.

Today we had the honor of celebrating our retiring BHP staff members — Diane Compton, Robin Fackler, Trish Matthews, Amy Bogard, Lisa Knott, and Rita Dowell! We are so thankful for the years of dedication, love, and impact each of you has given to our students, staff, and school family. Your hard work and commitment have helped shape BHP in countless ways, and while you will be deeply missed, we are excited to celebrate this well-deserved next chapter. Congratulations and best wishes on your retirement! 🐻❤️

We have several pairs of glasses in the office they have been found. Please check with your child to make sure they have their glasses as they are home for the summer.

Our 3rd grade students had the best day today! They toured David T Wilson Elementary in preparation for their upcoming new school and then we celebrated them with a farewell family parade! We are so proud of their growth and success while being a BHP Bear!!!

During Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, we want to thank our incredible BHP Team for the dedication, care, and commitment you show each day to building strong student relationships and supporting student achievement. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so grateful for all you do for our students and families. We also want to extend a special thank you to our amazing PTO for their generosity in spoiling our staff with special treats and gift giveaways throughout the week. The end of the school year is really getting near. Students have done a great job (I'm sure with your help) at locating their library books and turning them in. I hope finding their books isn't proving to be as difficult as it is to find Needoh!
Students may stop by the library in the mornings to turn in their books, no matter the day. We will send home overdue notes again this week, but message me on this app or via email with questions.
