BHP PTO Meeting! Tonight at 6:00 in the BHP Library!
Seasons Readings from the library! This is a computer lab week, but book exchange will have a slight twist this week.. On Monday and Tuesday, the K and 1st graders will exchange books as usual, however on Thursday and Friday, we want the K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes we have on those days to return their library books.

💚 🌊 Greenwave Spirit Week 💚 🌊 All week long, our students, staff, and community are invited to show their Greenwave spirit by wearing their Greenwave gear and celebrating what makes Meade County special. BHP students are asked to wear uniform bottoms with their Greenwave spirit tops!
Season's Readings! All classes will have library this week and will exchange books. If your child is in Mrs. Doyle's class, they will exchange books on Wednesday instead of Friday.

November Den Day Assembly! We celebrated 301 students with perfect attendance this month, Trustworthiness awards, Practice Makes Progress awards, had a Turkey Hunt and Den Day games for Bear Awards! 🎉🐻

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I hope you have a good time with family and friends over the break and celebrate being together and sharing good food.
I am also attaching the December calendar for programs offered at MCPL and there are plenty! Monday, Dec. 1st Santa Claus will be visiting the public library for pictures along with cocoa and crafts. And believe it or not, that's only a week away!

Tuesday, November 25th, we will celebrate perfect attendance for November, Bear Awards, Character Traits and Practice Makes Progress Awards! We will have games, music and will spin the wheel for an ice cream party!
Congratulations Bears! 4th grade Bulldogs visited BHP to celebrate our HIGH Achievement from KSA in May! We are so proud of our outstanding staff and student efforts and success!
Your friendly reminder that this week is a library week and all classes will be exchanging books. Please see the attached schedule for which day I see your child's class.
Also, we are so thankful we get to share the wonderful world of reading with your children! As we weed out older books from the library or books that have been donated to us, we allow our students select a book to keep. 2nd and 3rd graders will select books in November and K and 1st graders will select books in December. We show them how to tell the difference between a current library book and one we have discarded, so they can show you too.

Monday Night is our "Brilliant Bears" Family Learning Night! The informative sessions offered will be led by our very own BHP teachers and a few other special guests.

Morning snow squalls are making roads too dangerous for students to get to school, especially in the northern end and Brandenburg areas. Meade County Schools will use NTI Day 1 today.
